Returns and right of withdrawal
Did you order something you do not want after all? Here you can read what you can do. This policy is part of our terms and conditions.
14 days to change your mind
As a consumer you may cancel and return an order within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason. The cooling-off period starts on the day after you, or someone you have designated, received the order. If you order several products that are delivered separately, the period starts after receipt of the last product. This also applies to consumers in Belgium and Luxembourg.
How to report a return
- Within the 14 days, send an email to hello@cornholeborden.nl with your name, order number and the products you want to return. You may use the model form at the bottom for this, but you do not have to.
- Send the products back to us within 14 days of your notification, or bring them by in Amsterdam-Oost by appointment.
- Pack the products well enough that they do not get damaged in transit. A cornhole board is large and fragile.
Costs of returning
The costs of returning the products are at your expense.
Condition of the products
You may try out the products to see whether you want to keep them, as you would in a shop. If damage or loss of value has occurred through use beyond that, we may deduct the loss of value from your refund.
Your refund
After receiving your notification we will refund the purchase amount within 14 days, including the standard shipping costs of the first delivery. We refund via the same payment method you used. We may wait with the refund until we have received the products, or until you have shown that you have sent them back.
When you cannot return
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made especially for you. These are boards and sets with your own design, own logo, own photo or own colours, and anything made to your specifications or clearly personalised. This is also stated with the product, before you pay. A package (such as the Business package) that contains a product with your own design also falls under this. Standard designs from our collection are not custom work and can therefore be returned.
Business customers
The statutory right of withdrawal only applies to consumers. If you buy on behalf of a company, you can only return if we have agreed this in the quote or order confirmation.
Damaged, defective or not as agreed
Does something arrive damaged, or does it not match what we agreed? Report it as soon as possible, and no later than two months after you discover it, via hello@cornholeborden.nl. Preferably include photos. We will repair, replace or refund. This also applies to boards with your own design. Your statutory rights always remain.
